THE TEST

 


















H. works in one of the major cities of Halland. H. sought help because of difficulties of coping with the relations at  his working place.

H. was tested with the Lüscher test and again after one year. H. had a work situation where he often got involved in situations with collegues which took energy and working time from him. 

During the year of training he worked with three specializations:

1)
H. would learn "Autogene Training" to be able to relax if necessary, to cope with his sleep situation, and to teach the method to clients.

2) H. would learn a technique in which he did not loose in a relationship situation.

3) H. should persist in his aim to work individually with his clients.  

After a year of training H. meant that these things now worked fine. "Now I stand firm," he said. He could now argue his views without having to give in when it came to his own affairs.

First test

Gray subtest: The two first nuances chosen means: 1)  Is self-willed and remains stubborn. 2) Seeks liberating relief in order to release self.

8-color-subtest: The black color was the third choice which means: Wants to decide and remain consequent. Requires that the demands be met. If not will turn away abruptly..

The "lüschergreen ego-color" was chosen as number 6, which means: Sees self currently compelled to making arrangements and to adapting demands to situation.

There was a conflict between form 2 and color 2 (green) which means: Wants to assert self by means of superiority and provide self with the demanded recognition. Wants to profile self as a personality. Finds, however, that under- standing and due respect is lacking and that it is wearing to defend own opinion. Feels that this inner tense condition cannot last, but that it must be overcome. Strive to master demands.. 

In the subtest of four base-colors yellow was placed first and green last. This means: Undecided. Feels pushed and defenseless.

The result for the greenline subtest gave this answer: text: Closes himself and do not wants to be attacked.

Test after 1 year

Grey subtest: The first two nuances chosen means:  1) Ready for contact. Friendly. 2) Tendency to stabilize, equilibrium, wants to keep order.

8-color-subtest: The black color was chosen as number five, which means: Ready to make temporarily concessions and is able to reconcile with relinquishing.

The green color was chosen as the first color, which means: Demands respect. Wants to be respected as a very special personality. Wants to be respected as being competent by means of superiority. Wants to decide for himself.

This time there was no conflict between color2 (green) and form 2. 
 

In the subtest of four base colors, number 2(green) was chosen first and number 4 (yellow) last, which means: Wants to beware things like they are. Wants to feel safety. Is thorough. Close out and is blocked.

The result for the greenline subtest. Wants to be seen as competent and leading. Wants to tell how things are.

There wan no need for more training.

Comment: The required work situation was reached to satisfactory level. The achieved setting is obviously not desirable for all people in all situations, but it suited H well in the given situation.
